Mijas Pueblo

A white tourist town with lovely views over the Mediterranean, especially from the Hermitage, and typical donkey-taxi.

Rental car is recommended.

A white town in the southern foothills of the Sierra de las Nieves.

Points of interest: the Moorish Acequias in town, Chestnut St. Istan (a monumental tree). Beautiful views over the Embalse de la Concepción.
